Dr. Katherine Bacon is a PhD-educated counselor who has over 30 years of experience working with nonprofits as a licensed professional counselor, council-approved supervisor, and tenured professor. 

Dr. Bacon’s experience as the founder and executive director of the Parris Foundation has allowed her to secure over $35 million in grants to support underserved communities. Her leadership includes serving as Immediate Past-President of the Texas Counseling Association and legislative liaison to the Texas State Board of Professional Counselors. 

Her keen insight and profound experience allows her to walk students through each aspect of grant writing in order to help educate and inspire the leaders of nonprofit organizations to reach their goals and accomplish their missions.
