Bernadette P. Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #67671) and a Crime Victim Advocate who provides individual, couples, and family therapy. Milton Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #71578) who works with children, adolescents and adults, in individual settings as well as groups and families. His experience in higher and secondary education helps facilitate great communication among children and parents/adults.
Following the murder of her son, Parris, Dr. Katherine Bacon founded the Parris Foundation and currently serves as Executive Director. Katherine has served victims and the community for more than 16 years and is an active foster care alumna. Dr. Bacon is a Licensed Professional Counselor board approved supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas (#20032) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) (#70862). Currently she also serves as Region D Coordinator for the Texas Victim Services Association (TVSA).

Mrs. Cortez is a bilingual Spanish speaking counselor who specializes in working with children and adolescents through various modes of therapy.
